Wise Ride will ensure your experience is the most enjoyable and talked about tale by your family and friends. We offer piece of my mind by providing reliable, punctual and great value-for-money service - highly regarded by our customers.

Special Offer
Wise Ride specializes in providing car hire services for many occasions, including: Weddings, Formals, Film/Television, Photo Shoots, Funerals and Parades. Our areas of service include Sydney, Illawarra, Blue Mountains and the Central Coast. Other areas are available by negotiation.

Whether your special occasion is a wedding, formal or any other, you can trust Wise Ride to make that special day an unforgettable one!

Our Wedding package inclusions are:

    • 3-hour car hire
    • Complimentary champagne and chocolates
    • Traditional white car ribbons
    • A professionally designed slide show with up to 50 digital images, which will be sent to you on a DVD. Images can be from your wedding, honeymoon, or engagement and can be combined in one slide show. We also carry a camera with us and can contribute to your slide show with images.
    • The care factor. We will do anything within our power to add a touch of difference to your wedding day and make it truly special!

Our wedding cars are equipped with essential wedding day supplies such as hair spray, mirror, tissues, safety and hair pins, and matching umbrellas.

At Wise Ride we understand that no two weddings are the same as no two couples are alike. We all have different perceptions and consequently make different choices. This is why now Wise Ride allows you to design your own package using your own creativity. Just send us an email with what you want to have as your package inclusions and we will send you a quote within 48 hours. It is that simple!

Late night getaway hire is also available as an extension to your wedding hire package. This is also a great opportunity to have some late night photo shoots.

Our Formals package inclusions are:

    • A professionally designed slide show with photos taken with your family, friends, on the way to the venue, which will be sent to you on a DVD usually 2-3 weeks following your formal
    • The care factor. We want you to sit back, relax and be the star as you rock up in our classic cruisers with style

Please refer to our Contact Us page to obtain all the quotes. Where possible please have the following information ready to assist us in quoting you as accurate as possible:

For Weddings:

    1. Pick up address
    2. Wedding address
    3. Reception address
    4. How many hours you require the car for – minimum 3 hours
    5. If you require a getaway car

For Formals

    1. Pick up address
    2. Venue address
    3. How many hours you require the car for

Please Note: A travel surcharge is applicable to some areas.

All Other Occasions car hire is available by negotiation. Please Contact Us for further information.

Car Inspection:

Is usually conducted on the weekend by appointment only.

Payment:

We accept cheque, cash and direct deposit.
Initial deposit is required in order to secure the booking. Prior to paying a deposit all service inclusions will be confirmed to you in writing. A full amount must be paid a month prior. Pay by installments is also available as a payment plan – subject to negotiation and approval. Installment amounts will differ depending on your chosen package and we are very flexible.

Should you require the car for longer period of time than booked on the day, the rate charged is per half an hour. This is payable direct to the driver.

We strongly suggest you always book sufficient hours upfront in order to avoid higher charge rate on the day.

Accreditation and Insurance:

We are Car Hire Accredited business by Ministry of Transport. Our Accreditation number is 34656.

Wise Ride is a holder of Public Liability Insurance.


We have put together a useful checklist as a reference when choosing your wedding, formal or other special event car hire:

Check that the car hire company is registered hence legitimate
Ensure they hold necessary accreditation and public liability insurance

Don’t make a choice purely based on the cost. Consider other factors such as customer service, reliability and safety. Always remember: ‘You get what you paid for’!
Always make the time to view the cars as photos can be quite deceiving
Look for a friendly, easy to deal with company. If someone was unpleasant to you at initial stages it is less likely they will treat you any better on your special day!
Confirm that the prices quoted are from base to base or from the time you are picked up by the car hire
Have all your package inclusions confirmed in writing prior to paying deposit
Ask as many questions as you have. Don’t leave anything unclarified.
Check with your chosen wedding car hire that everything is in order a week prior to your big day
Always have your own plan B car on standby in case the car hire company lets you down.
  You have probably been disappointed by your own vehicle at some stage and sometimes no matter how much care you put into the cars they sometimes tend not to perform as they should. Unfortunately, this is the fact of life. Even though most car hire companies have their own stand by vehicles:

1. by the time they get to you, you will be late for a church, photo taking or your reception venue
2. the substitute car will most likely be different to the one you have chosen initially

These are the reasons we suggest you have your own back up car in case things go wrong
Don’t be afraid to be fussy.
